Who is the woman?
What is the place of women in society?
The full and equal participation of women in all elements of society is a fundamental human right.
Yet globally, whether in politics, entertainment or the workplace, women and girls are still vastly underrepresented.
Fortunately, over the years, the place of women in society has evolved considerably over the decades.
WHAT ABOUT THE CURRENT WOMAN?
Once relegated to traditional roles as stay-at-home mother and wife, Women have gradually acquired rights and opportunities that allow them to flourish in many areas.
Today, women are becoming very active in society and they have a social role, they play a role which tends to equal that previously reserved for men.
Women now hold leadership positions, run businesses and contribute significantly to the economy.
A woman of value knows who she is, has a strong sense of purpose in life, and inspires others by her example.
A high-value woman cultivates healthy and balanced relationships, she is able to express her needs and her limits, while being attentive to the needs of others.
According to the writer John Roos, inspired by the Hebrew/French dictionary, "a woman of valor is a force or an army, she symbolizes wealth, virtue, valor and strength.
She is full of strength and power. She has very high principles and is not afraid to assert them. Like an army, she fights for what she believes to be right and stands up against opposing powers.
She feels like a military fortification to protect her family and home, resisting anything that might threaten them."
Who can find a virtuous woman? She is of much more value than pearls. Proverbs 31.10
Her husband's heart trusts in her, and he will not lack provisions.
She does him good, and not harm, All the days of her life.
She procures wool and flax, And works with a cheerful hand.
She is like a merchant ship, She brings her bread from afar.
She rises while it is still night, and gives food to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her labor she plants a vineyard.
She girded her loins with strength, and strengthened her arms.
She feels that what she earns is good; her lamp does not go out during the night.
She puts her hand to the distaff, And her fingers hold the spindle.
She extends her hand to the unfortunate, She extends her hand to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet.
She makes herself coverings, She has garments of fine linen and purple .
